Project Experience
For over 30 years we have been building power distribution and control equipment for project management and construction companies including KBR, Paragon Engineering, Mustang Engineering, Daewoo Shipbuilding, Marine Engineering, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, BP and Amoco. Our equipment is powering facilities, islands and countries all over the world.
Scope, Process & Responsibilities
Working with either an appointed project management company or directly with the customer (depending on project size), we establish power specifications, control requirements, location conditions and space constraints for the power equipment. We issue drawing package for review that may go through a few iterations until customer's approval.
Following approval our team will procure the materials required, start fabrication and equipment assembly in our UL 508A panel shop.
Equipment is configured and tested in-house. Customer FAT test maybe included depending on project size. Following successful test, equipment is carefully packaged and shipped to location for installation and commissioning. An SAI engineer usually supports commissioning, helping with any troubleshooting (typically inter-connect wiring issues) and runs through sequence of operation testing along with operator training. With a successful site acceptance test the project is complete.
