Switchgear
We build custom low voltage and medium voltage switchgear for generator engine controls. Our solutions are used in prime power, standby power or emergency power applications. Our projects can be for single cabinet to multi-sections lineups with auxillary local generator control panels and circuit breaker junction boxes.
Depending on size and complexity of the switchgear we build using Eaton, ABB, Schneider.
The switchgear is built-to UL standards and can be listed by SAI per UL 1558

Project Management
Typically our projects are coordinated with engineering management companies who specify equipment and requirements. For these projects we bid switchgear to spec and handle drawings, building, user operating procedures and functional testing. We would include commissioning onsite with operator training.
If there is no management company then we will work directly with the customer and define the specification. This will typically involve a walk-through of the facility or reference building plans to help develop project scope, functional requirements and integration.
UL Standards and Certification
As a UL certified panel-shop, our designs and wiring adheres to national electrical codes and UL requirements. We are licensed to UL-list per the following standards:
- UL / ULC 508A - Industrial Control Panel for General Use
- UL / ULC 1203 - Control Panels & Assemblies for Use in Hazardous Locations
- UL / ULC 1558 - Switchgear Assemblies, Metal Enclosed, Low-Voltage-Power, Circuit-Breaker Switchgear
- UL / ULC 1604 / ISA 12.12.01-2007 - Control Panels in Hazardous Location
